SizeGuess combines original vector drawings, PhyloPic silhouettes and public-domain Natural Earth maps. Each catalogue object has its own drawing. No artwork is copied from Magnitudle or Size It Up.

Country outlines

The 45 country and territory silhouettes are derived from Natural Earth 1:50m Admin 0 Countries. Natural Earth data is public domain. We simplify coastlines, apply a locally centred Lambert azimuthal equal-area projection, and crop the territorial scope where stated. Read the map measurement conventions.

Anatomical silhouettes

The following silhouettes originate from PhyloPic. Changes: removed document metadata and background-only shapes, normalised tight bounds, resized without changing proportions, and made the fill adapt to the game colours. The downloadable modified SVG retains the original licence named below. An illustrated pose represents a taxon; it does not establish the measurement used by the game.

Original artwork

All remaining silhouettes are original SizeGuess vector illustrations, adapted into a consistent single-ink style with small contrasting details where helpful. Planets and spherical equipment retain identifying surface marks; aircraft retain their own fuselage proportions. Silhouettes are educational representations, not engineering drawings.
